The most carbon intensive thing you can do?
As a business we help companies measure and reduce their carbon footprint - our blog tends to go a bit off topic from that. Today’s post is a particularly random one.
Have you ever wondered what the most carbon intensive thing you can do would be? Listen to this:
Someone in Las Vegas has come up with it. For a fee, he’ll grab his noise cancelling headphones and fly you 5,280 feet (1 mile) into the air so that you can join the mile high club.
It’s often joked that the two most carbon intensive things you can do in 20 minutes are take a flight or have a kid, now you can do both:
1 private plane for 20 minutes = 1 tonne of CO2e
Having a child = 210+ tonnes of CO2e
We understand that some people choose not to have children out of consideration for the planet, and we completely respect that. Private jets not so much.
