With some holidays creating over 5 tonnes of carbon emissions per person, we set out on a mission to come up with the holidays that are compatible with the Paris Agreement target of staying within 1.5 degrees of global warming. We’ve put together a list of some of the lowest carbon holidays possible (under 500 kgs of CO2 for one person) and the good news is that you can still get away and have a brilliant time experiencing different cultures, cuisines and activities.
